It’s Chili

So the cold weather has come to campus and the eternal struggle between student and temperature continues. I for one am not happy about it. I have not brought any of my winter bedding to school, I still want to be able to walk to the Village on the weekends, and I am not done riding my bike this year! But I guess one good thing comes out of the bitter wind… new foods. With the drop in Fahrenheit a new menu opens up to us all. We can break out the chili and stews, open up the hot chocolate, and heat up the corn dogs…. Ok, maybe corn dogs are not season specific, I just really like them. But for those of us who cook, bake, and concoct, this weather means deviating from the same schedule we’ve been on for 5 months. It means new possibilities. And if you don’t cook, learn. What is more important than knowing how to feed yourself? Nothing, that’s what. Plus, it’s fun.

And remember – be awesome to each other.
