Fall Days at Ball State

Fall days at Ball State bring the campus experience full-circle. Walking along beautiful Park Hall, Frog Baby, and Shafer Tower during this season reminds me of why I chose to attend Ball State in the first place. Nothing beats seeing groups of people toss a football, play volleyball, or go on leisurely walks with the fall leaves crunching under foot. The grass is green, the leaves are brilliantly colored, and the weather couldn’t be better.

This weather not only makes strolling to class more enjoyable, it makes the whole tailgating experience one to remember, too. Homecoming landed on a beautiful day with not a cloud in sight. People mingled, grills crackled, and fans cheered on the Cardinals to another winning game. This is what this time of year is all about at Ball State.

I am now into my senior year and possibly my last semester on campus. It is definitely time to stop, breathe the fresh air, listen to the buzzing campus, enjoy the landscape and smell the roses. Winter, and graduation, will be here soon enough.

  1. Wow, that photo looks rather Abbey Road-esque.
