Wow!, your criticism of any opposing view other than your own, as well as your threats of using the Secret Services (Or as I like to say the SS) on Mr.Boger to silence his speech. Shows that you are nothing more than a boot licking sycophant of The State. You will get the country that you deserve. The only critique I could add to this blog, is not mentioning people playing on line video games for hours at a time when they should be getting involved in more grown up things.

I love that the meets are at 8am as well! We accomplish a lot, and it always seems to make my day better. I like having breakfast with everyone and getting to know more about other memebers.

Have a great day!

I didn't pay for your education so that you could publicly embarrass me by criticizing someone's work as "assaulting the English language" when you are clearly not an expert on the English language yourself. Look at the word "thens" in your last bullet statement. Where do you see that word in Webster's?

By the way, the gentle writer did not say that BSU students are "drunken, shallow, and uninformed," he said "people his age." Get it right and do your homework before carelessly opening your sewer or when you get home because you need your laundry done, i will issue you a spankin' you won't soon forget sonny!

So society is not obsessed with sports? So Ball State students don't drink in excess? So the UN isn't promoting world government throught Copenhagen? So the 2nd amendment hasn't been attacked? What are you doing? Getting ready for the Colts / Pats game Sunday? Attacking him for punctuation, real classy. He's taking action how he see's fit, you fit the classic sofa samaurai mold of critiquing those who dare to take action and take on what you fear.

Hey bobby,
I am only a sophomore this year, but once I started my freshman year I set such expectations for myself and I found myself often let down when I didn't do as well in classes as I had hoped. But I had to admit to myself that I wasn't going to be perfect and I had to accept that. Not saying I don't try, trust me I do. I just look at it that I can only do my best and that's all I can ask of myself. I used to stress to the point that I would break down in tears about tests and papers. This year is a whole different story for me. I have learned to let the little things go and focus on LIFE! Never the less I am still making the grades I want, hanging out with friends and being active on campus. So try not to let the little things bother you and realize that things could always be worse than it really is.

Wow. Please give us alums some notice the next time you decide to let the wingnut right wingers run the BSU alumni blog! I don't even know where to start with this completely inappropriate post.
*John Michael J. Boger insults the students of Ball State as drunken, shallow, and uninformed.
*He then goes onto insult anyone who paid attention to his "evidence". The news articles that he hyperlinks as support are not supportive of his arguments in any way and in some instances make the exact opposite claim.
*One such article features an alarmist claim that we are moving towards "one world government" and how dare that the Secretary General of the UN have his own armed guards on US soil. If those men were armed, I assure you they were US citizens, probably secret service agents. http://www.fas.org/irp/threat/inman/part09.htm
*Mr. John Michael J. Boger thens goes onto assualt the English language in a violently misspelled (e.g. distain & "We have to get up do something"), bone shatteringly poor punctuated, an incogent missive about a "revolution".

I have several questions for the Alumni Association? Who let this student on the keyboard? Where is the adult supervision? Do I need to call the secret service? And can someone please sign Mr. John Michael J. Boger up for Mike Bauer's argumentation class. Perhaps Mr. Bauer and/or Professor Messner could teach this student a thing or two about argument, support, expression, and rhetoric.

I love St.A.R.T. for a lot of the same reasons you do Michelle! Quick meetings that cover a lot of information! Not many organizations can say they have the ability to accomplish all of this. But this could be because we meet at 8 a.m. and no one is awake enough to be chatty! However, I must admit- I like this early time. We accomplish a lot, but have the rest of our day to do what we need to whether that be going to class or going back to bed!

For others reading this, I'm also super excited Michelle joined St.A.R.T. because she is my roommate! Fun fact about Michelle: She is getting married this summer and Sally (our president) and I will be in the wedding. Us St.A.R.T. girls stick together!

Happy Veterans Day!

I have been as shocked as you have, Nicole. What's the deal with Ball State and all this negativity? Even though all this is going on, I still don't feel as if I should be worried or scared about any of this. Maybe I am being naive, but I feel safe walking around campus. However, this didn't stop my parents from getting me pepper spray for those nights when I am walking home after dark. What can you do though, right?

I enjoyed reading your post. I'm excited it's Veteran's Day as well!
